When we began working with this producer and distributor of PolyMem wound care dressings, we found they were not only up against stiff competition, but up against those with substantially larger media budgets. How then could Ferris not only compete, but stand out? Getting to fully understand this segment of the health care industry was one thing, bringing Ferris’s name to the forefront on fewer advertising dollars, was another. One efficient and effective way to do so, was through the Ferris “Pearls for Practice” feature we developed, that now appears monthly in trade publications. An established radio station changes formats, adds a new morning show with new talent, and goes after a totally new audience than what it had been broadcasting to. It’s a challenge for any radio station to get new listeners let alone get all new listeners. LaBelle Barin worked with KTWN to develop a media plan, and a creative look using television, digital billboards, and bus signs to get the word out to as many people as possible, and as quickly as possible.
